First Hour

We pray at the dawn of day, remembering that Christ rose from the dead at the break of morning.
Third Hour
Terce · 9:00 AM
At the third hour, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles on the day of Pentecost.
Sixth Hour
Sext · 12:00 PM
At the sixth hour, our Lord Jesus Christ was nailed to the Cross for our salvation.
Ninth Hour
None · 3:00 PM
At the ninth hour, our Lord gave up His spirit upon the Cross and opened paradise to mankind.
Eleventh Hour
Vespers · Sunset
In the evening, the body of the Lord was taken down from the Cross by Joseph and Nicodemus.
Twelfth Hour
Compline · 9:00 PM
Before sleep, we remember the burial of Christ and entrust ourselves to God through the night.
Midnight Hour
Midnight · 12:00 AM
In the stillness of the night, we watch and pray, awaiting the coming of the Bridegroom.
