Psalm 104, verse 1. 1Alleluia.
Give thanks to the Lord and call upon His name;
Report His works among the Gentiles;
Psalm 104, verse 2. 2Sing to Him, and play a stringed instrument to Him;
Describe all His wonderful works.
Psalm 104, verse 3. 3Praise His holy name;
Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad;
Psalm 104, verse 4. 4Seek the Lord and be strengthened;
Seek His face continually.
Psalm 104, verse 5. 5Remember the wonders He performed,
Of His marvels and the judgments of His mouth,
Psalm 104, verse 6. 6O seed of Abraham, His servants,
O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
Psalm 104, verse 7. 7He is the Lord our God;
His judgments are in all the earth.
Psalm 104, verse 8. 8Remember His covenant forever,
And His word He commanded for a thousand generations,
Psalm 104, verse 9. 9Which He established with Abraham,
And His oath with Isaac;
Psalm 104, verse 10. 10And He established it as an ordinance with Jacob
And as an everlasting covenant with Israel,
Psalm 104, verse 11. 11Saying, “I shall give you the land of Canaan
As the portion of your inheritance.”
Psalm 104, verse 12. 12When they were few in number,
The smallest and sojourners in the land,
Psalm 104, verse 13. 13And passed through from nation to nation,
From a kingdom to a different people,
Psalm 104, verse 14. 14He allowed no man to wrong them;
And He reproved kings on their behalf:
Psalm 104, verse 15. 15“Do not touch My anointed ones,
And do not act wickedly towards My prophets.”
Psalm 104, verse 16. 16And He called a famine upon the land;
He shattered all their provision of bread;
Psalm 104, verse 17. 17He sent a man before them;
He sold Joseph into slavery.
Psalm 104, verse 18. 18They humbled his feet with fetters;
His soul passed into the iron
Psalm 104, verse 19. 19Until his word came to pass;
The revelation of the Lord tried him in the fire.
Psalm 104, verse 20. 20The king, the ruler of the people, sent and released him,
And he acquitted him.
Psalm 104, verse 21. 21He made him lord of his house
And ruler of all his domain,
Psalm 104, verse 22. 22To instruct his rulers as himself
And to teach his elders wisdom.
Psalm 104, verse 23. 23And Israel came into Egypt,
And Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham;
Psalm 104, verse 24. 24He increased His people greatly,
And made them stronger than their enemies.
Psalm 104, verse 25. 25He changed their heart to hate His people,
To deal craftily with His servants.
Psalm 104, verse 26. 26He sent Moses His servant;
He sent Aaron, whom He chose.
Psalm 104, verse 27. 27He put among them the words of His signs
And of His wonders in the land of Ham.
Psalm 104, verse 28. 28He sent darkness, and it grew dark;
And they rebelled against His words.
Psalm 104, verse 29. 29He turned their waters into blood,
And He killed their fish.
Psalm 104, verse 30. 30Their land produced frogs
In the chambers of their kings.
Psalm 104, verse 31. 31He spoke and the dog-fly came,
And gnats in all their borders.
Psalm 104, verse 32. 32He gave them hail for rain;
Fire burned up their land;
Psalm 104, verse 33. 33And He smote their vineyards and their fig trees,
And He shattered every tree in their domain.
Psalm 104, verse 34. 34He spoke, and the locust came,
And the caterpillar without number,
Psalm 104, verse 35. 35And ate up all the grass in their land,
And devoured the fruit of their land.
Psalm 104, verse 36. 36And He smote all the firstborn in their land,
The firstling of all their labor.
Psalm 104, verse 37. 37He led them out with silver and gold,
And there was not among their tribes one who was feeble.
Psalm 104, verse 38. 38Egypt was gladdened by their exodus,
For fear of them fell upon them.
Psalm 104, verse 39. 39He spread a cloud as a cover for them,
And a fire to give them light at night.
Psalm 104, verse 40. 40They asked, and the quails came,
And He filled them with the bread of heaven.
Psalm 104, verse 41. 41He split the rock, and the waters flowed;
The rivers ran in the waterless places.
Psalm 104, verse 42. 42For He remembered His holy word
Which He gave to His servant Abraham.
Psalm 104, verse 43. 43He brought out His people with exceeding joy,
And His chosen ones with gladness.
Psalm 104, verse 44. 44And He gave them the lands of the nations,
And they inherited the labors of the peoples,
Psalm 104, verse 45. 45So they might keep His ordinances,
And seek out His law.
