The Feast of the Apostles

This feast commemorates the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, pillars of the early Church. Saint Peter, the chief of the Apostles, and Saint Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, both gave their lives as martyrs in Rome for the sake of the Gospel.
